“ODETTE” is a cocktail of life, family, and love. It reminds me of the sound of the gramophone in her old half-timbered house in the Normandy countryside. All her grandchildren huddle by the fireside, listening to her adventurous tales. The famous scallops from the region are served in harmony with her favorite soup, which, over time, has become ours as well. A delicate blend of Jerusalem artichokes and celery, carried by the indulgence of the cream from her cherished small producer. For this 3rd edition of CalvaClub, here is my tribute to Odette and her love for Normandy.
