Ferme de la
Sapinière

The Ferme de la Sapinière produces all of its ciders using natural fermentation, without the addition of carbon dioxide. It also produces Pommeau de Normandie and Calvados.
Guided tours are available allowing visitors to learn more about our delectable Normandy beverages.

The Ferme de la Sap­in­ière is per­fectly loc­ated between the Amer­ic­an cemetery in Col­leville-sur-Mer and Omaha beach.
Michel and Phil­ippe Leg­al­lois have been pro­du­cing nat­ur­ally-fer­men­ted cider, Pom­meau de Nor­man­die, Calvados and apple juice since 1991.

In our guided tour, you will learn about our pro­duc­tion, from the apple to the Calvados, with a tour of the orch­ards and a visit to the press and the dif­fer­ent pro­duc­tion areas, in par­tic­u­lar the ageing cellar where the famous spir­its are born. The tour con­cludes with a tast­ing of the farm’s products.

Indi­vidu­al tours are avail­able from Monday to Sat­urday at 10:45, 14:30 (in Eng­lish) and 15:30. Group tours can be arranged by appointment.

A selec­tion of farm and craft spe­ci­al­it­ies are avail­able in our shop: Caen style tripes, Vire andouilles, raw milk cheese, ril­lettes… and many other products from our Normandy terroir.
