Breaking away with Calvados

This summer, Calvados joined the peloton on the roads of the Tour de France.

As the Grand Boucle passed through the region, a vibrant billboard campaign lined the route, catching the eyes of both riders and spectators.

Highlight of the ride? The time trial in Caen on July 9. Calvados made a strong showing, present all along the course — a nod to its Norman roots and an open invitation to rediscover a classic.

No bike required — it was already wearing the yellow jersey.

But beyond local pride, the campaign spoke to something bigger: a renewed momentum for Calvados as a modern spirit, perfectly at home on cocktail menus.

Versatile, vibrant, and rich in aroma, it’s full of surprises.

Meanwhile, another contender made its move: the POCITO, a cocktail crafted with Pommeau de Normandie, also drew in those seeking freshness and a twist on tradition.

A campaign that made you want to get away — and revisit the classics, one glass at a time.

Cheers.
